    It just didn't look quite right in the photo, which is why I wondered.
    It certainly looks fine. Maybe just a bit late then. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I think it just means you shouldn't put your thermals away yet. 'Ne'er cast a clout til the may is out'. :)

    Here the ones in shelter are flowering now, some of the ones in colder spots aren't out yet.

    Do you trim it?  One I never trim has beautiful boughs of scented flowers but the larger tree that I need to trim to keep in check (as it’s close to my house) has hardly ever flowered. They are both self seeded wild ones in a sunny and sometimes windy position.

    It's never pruned. @raisingirl and I aren't a million miles away from one another so hopefully I am just being impatient as my more sheltered ones are probably not fully out yet either.
