  As long as you tie in the clems properly, they'll be fine. 
  I get a lot of broken stems, especially with new, softer growth, but that's just how it is. There's a limit to how much wind protection you can have sometimes

  That’s the problem isn’t it @Fairygirl, it is difficult to have all the right conditions for plants.
