Can you get Camassias in colours other than blue?

I believed this to be a Camassia but it looks like its coming out with a reddish yellow flower.  Anyone got an explanation?  I've never grown them before.

They come in white as well, but not reddish / yellow, so not sure what you have there.
How can you lie there and think of England

Mine sometimes do that @Cloggie, it is almost like the top flowers have dried or burnt.  The green buds below it look normal.

Oh bugger!  :disappointed: I'd planned for it to tone nicely with the young potato vine until it gets too big so I would have moved it anyway.  Got it from the £2 bargain bench at the nursery so let's wait and see if it was a bargain.

The green buds will flower still, they flower from the bottom up :)

If it's a dry site, that's probably the reason it looks off. They prefer soil that doesn't dry out, and are excellent in shade. I'd beef up that soil and that will help it in future if you intend leaving it there. The proximity to the wall means it'll probably be drier too.

I only grow the white ones [ I hate pale blue] and they multiply very quickly if happy. Mine are just starting to flower now.
