I shall keep an eye out for pollinators on pink erig.

I do notice bumbles on old hellebores blooms - they seem to offer a very long season of reward. It makes me suspect that some plants do offer nectar after pollination.

Just thinking out loud. I would if the production of nectar post pollination in some species serves to repel certain undesirables protecting the plant. Could be nonsense

The Nature article says nectar production drops off gradually after pollination-triggered colour change but I don't know how long this would go on for. I guess it depends on the plant species. I can't find specifics for Erigeron.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
