It is actually grown as a garden plant, Linaria, of which there are several named varieties. Even the wild form is worth growing as bees love it, and it is not a problem.
I will continue growing them but I'm completely baffled as to where they came from I think the seed of the cup and saucer vine didn't germinate and there must have been toadflax seeds within the multi-purpose compost in the pots
So when they sprouted I just thought it was the cup and saucer Vine and continue to lovingly nurture them!

I lovingly grew grew it from the seed thinking it was a cup and saucer vine but it's clearly not a cup and saucer vine
So basically its a weed
I've been lovingly cultivating about five of them since March
There's probably plenty in the garden anyway😉
