My houseplant appears to be dying

Can anyone help and tell me what’s happening to my houseplant

    My guess would be that it's had too much hot sun. It is a fern of some sort I think, Stag Horn fern or a relative, and ferns like cool, shady positions, with enough moisture, but not sitting in wet soil. You could try misting it, but not when it will be exposed to sunlight or it may get more sunburn.

    I agree, it won't be happy with any direct sun on it, or with dry air that's typical in homes. They like humidity, so mist it often or maybe try it in the bathroom if you have space.
    You might as well cut off the brown crispy fronds because they won't turn green again, but if you can make it happy it should grow some new ones.
