Tomato plants

My tomato plants are coming on nicely but I've noticed at the bottom I have new growth would I be best nipping them off or just leave they are cordon Tom plants. I will try to post photos 😀

I took this pic a couple of years ago - exactly for this purpose, as some people are unsure about nipping out sideshoots. You can see the tiny shoot at that junction where I've circled it in red.
Is that what you're meaning , or is it just a new stem like the base of the plant in my pic?

If you plant the shoot you can get a new plant 🙂.

I've got too many, so I'll have to put a few outdoors. If it's like last summer here, they'll be ok, but I really hope it isn't that hot....
