Tomato Plants

edited May 2022 in Problem solving
Hello, my tomato plants are about 2ft tall and were planted in a Quad-Grow System a couple of weeks ago. They have access to water when they need it thanks to the reservoir so there is no stress due to lack of water or over watering. I use ‘Jack’s Magic’ compost. However, over the past few days a few of the bottom leaves on 3 of my plants have shrivelled up and other leaves have begun to show yellow spots. After researching this, I am lead to believe it isn’t blight but am not sure what else it could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

In the 1st pic there appear to be some raised bumps alongside the midrib of the leaf.
It's possible that too much water is available and has caused a touch of oedema. They yellowing is possibly due to nitrogen not reaching those parts due to the oedema.
I don't think it's a concern unless it gets worse.
The curling leaf in the last pic - it can happen if that leaf is getting a draught or watering issues.
I've not used a system like yours so can't really offer further suggestions, but it may be something to do with the watering

No worries - just keep an eye on them and check the watering if they get worse, but I don't think there's much of a problem really.
You'll see a lot worse on the leaves as the season progresses, it's just what happens :)
