Any ideas what these are that seem to be coming up everywhere?

    @Claire204 Perhaps a close up might help. Are there tiny flowers forming at the top of each one?
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    @Claire204 Oh dear no nearer I am sorry to say. Someone may know or maybe you will need to wait for flowers. If it is a weed best dealt with before the seed forms.
