Beasties on my Norway Spruce

  Posted images before editing. These little purple caterpillars (I think) are all over my Norway Spruce. Should I remove them or are they harmess?

  they are ladybird larvae - they’re something you want to encourage!

  Thanks, looking at a google image search of ladybird larvae, I can see this is exactly what they are now.
