I am no expert and many might be horrified at my suggestion ... but we have grown creeping jenny around the edges of our pond. Unfortunately we did not get it level when we put the pond liner in (a big learning curve there) and too much of the liner is on show. The creeping jenny is doing a good job at hiding the ugly liner and spreads super quick - it is also fairly easy to remove if you need to. We bought 6 x 4" pots and placed the plants evenly around the edge. It seems to like it in the pond and survives well in the water! So we occasionally take some out and have planted some along a (very) dry and ugly stone wall. It has survived the winter well, makes good ground cover and will hopefully creep down the wall. The pond is in its second year now, rather wild and still needs much work - including weeding! 🤦🏼♀️ But it has plenty of pond life - frogs, newts, toads and lots more! 😊
I know a lot of people use Creeping Jenny to hide edges @ShepherdsBarn so nothing to be horrified by, if you have a lot of liner showing its tricky to find something to cover it as well. Pond looks absolutely lovely by the way, and Im jealous of your wall too!
