Grafted fruit tree problem

This is my cherry tree which looks like two branches have appeared out of the trunk that’s very different to the other side. Basically the leaf size and colour is different and I noticed even the flowering time is different. What should I do with it?

It goes all the way to the trunk, the darker branches. I think there’s three of them so quite big size branches. Are they doing any harm staying put?

Thanks, sounds like I’ll have to tackle them then @pansyface. A greedy part of me was hoping I’d get two equal trees in one, slightly different cherries but equally delicious 😉

What variety did you buy in the first place? Is it a Family type tree with several varieties grafted onto one tree?

@steephill - I don’t know which it is, either a morello or a Stella. I have these but never got to taste the fruits because wood pigeons. I don’t know what it would have been grafted to. The trunk is quite thick compared to my other cherry tree which is being swamped by some shrubs.
