Buxus
I was wondering whether anyone could help identify the problem with this Buxus. I have planted a lot of them — before learning of their perils!
The majority have taken very well, but a few have decided to depigment and go a straw yellow. We live in Sussex. Those in a more exposed position appear worse hit.

It does not look to be typical of any of the fungal disease images I have seen nor have I seen any pests etc. I wonder if it could just be from the weather so have started ground watering with nitrogen rich fertiliser.
I’ve attached photos of the affected areas and the neighbouring thriving plant.
Any advice?

However, they also like decent soil, plenty of moisture, and can be affected by frosts on new, soft growth.
I certainly wouldn't be feeding. That can exacerbate problems, and is too much for a plant that's struggling.
It looks more like a cultural problem to me. A mix of drought or the aforementioned frosts. An exposed site is always worse too, as the plants are simply more vulnerable to weather.
Or it could be animal urine.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
