Please help, plant needed: part shade, slightly alkaline, 2-3m, evergreen....

Hi, please help. I am looking for a plant that fits the red line in photo (buxus balls have been removed, skimmia will be moved and black wall light can be removed) and meets this criteria:
north facing
loam soil
part/light shade
soil ph: slightly alkaline
height: 2m-3m (grows to full height in 10years)
spread: 1m
evergreen with darker green leaves to contrast against the yellow brick
more of a column shape
Dont mind flower colour if it flowers
I dont want a climber as I don't want anything to stick to the bricks!!

Many thanks....

Some of the sarcococcas may fit the bill.
Happy in shade, evergreen, highly scented white flowers in winter followed by berries

Not a lot of room there. A columnar evergreen like one of the junipers might suit - they don't mind some alkalinity. The yews are the same - there's a nice golden one.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I'd go with Pyracantha trained against the wall. You could train it as a column, or get it growing around the windows if you wanted.
