Jasmine question

Can anyone tell me what's happening to my jasmine? I Googled it but couldn't find any pictures that looked like this. It's just been happening for the past few days, and there's less than a handful of leaves involved . (The lizard in the picture told me that she isn't doing it - she's very concerned about her home). We live in South Carolina so it's warm and humid - no insects that I've seen. Anyone?

Not a "jasmine" but probably a Trachelospermum. Does it live in a pot?

Can you add anything about the way you keep it - growing medium, light, watering etc? Are there any bugs? It looks a bit like something is operating inside the leaves.
  • It's in the potting soil it came in, which I planted in regular garden soil. The aphids aren't around (yet...). They get early morning sun for about 4 hours, then 3 hours or so in early afternoon. I haven't turned on the irrigation yet, but that's starting in the morning. I have been watering it every 1-2 days but it needs it. Close inspection doesn't indicate any critters.
