Suggestions for a name please

  It looks very like the one in my parents' garden which is older than me. We don't know the variety because it was already in the garden when they bought the house in 1965, so I'll be interested to see the suggestions.

  I don't think it's Bristol Ruby - that has darker, more reddish-pink flowers.

  I know W. Bristol Ruby..flowers are much darker..almost red.
  Mystery one is a delicate baby pink...mottled white...see pic 4.

  We had one planted some time in the 1940's. I seem to remember that Woolworths sold zillions of them, just under the name Weigela.

  It's not "just" Weigela rosea is it , as opposed to having a varietal name ?

  I suspect Weigela florida Pink Princess is a recent invention.
  Flowers are described as Lavender pink.
