hi all. I bought a lovely little fig tree today. I’ve always wanted one.
I’ve read a lot about keeping them in a pot to encourage fruit. I love the idea of fruit, but Admittedly I also just love the leaf shape and look. I want this ideally to get to a ‘crown’ of a couple of meters wide at least. If I put this in a pot, then into the ground will I still achieve this - or should I pop it straight into the soil? It’s a little wet in the winter, but it’ll get good sun in the morning to about 2, dappled shade, then a little sun in the evening. Any help welcome!
