Plant iD needed

My MIL lives in a hot climate. She’s sent our family WhatsApp group a picture of a plant she has flowering in her garden. I think it’s an amaryllis, as I’ve had a few amaryllis bulbs that have flowered over the last few years on my windowsill.

However my MIL says her is an ilium longiflorum, aka Easter lily. I’ve googled those and they have different leaves. So I think she’s got that wrong.

What are the thoughts from you gardening experts?

Thats definitely an amaryllis.  I had a friend in Western Australia who grew these outdoors in the borders.
