Trees and Shrubs - help identifying

glraggettglraggett Posts: 12
Hi all,

It's my second post on this forum. I've recently taken an interest in gardening and I'm trying to identify what trees, shrubs and plants I have in the garden. I'm a beginner at this and learning as I go along.

I've taken some pictures of trees and shrubs and I'm hoping you can help me to identify them. I have 9 photos in total, but will post them 3 at a time. Here's the first one:

Photo 1 - Ruby Falls?

Photo 2 - Conifer?

Photo 3 - no idea!

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you!

Lee.

@glraggett Has the first one flowered already this year. I wondered if it was a prunus cistena. Cersis leaves are heart shaped.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    1. Maybe Malus?
Pics of flowers or fruits would be most helpful.
    2.
    3. Looks like Salix caprea...common name goat willow.
