Italian Cypress

What ho one and all,

We have a line of Italian Cypress in the forn tgarden, ten in all.

A few years ago, one had an aphid infestation but spraying cured the problem which fortunately, did not spread.

Now another is going brown.  It appears to be healthy inside where there is plenty of green, but everything on the outside is now brown.  There are no bugs or aphids.

My wife, who has the green fingers, thinks it is dead and we should remove it, but I am not so sure.  But I also don't know what is the best solution.  Heavy trim; fertiliser; some kind of 'wellness' spray?

Greartfull for any suggestions.

Thanks and toolde pip

    That's helpful.

    What does 'bumping up' mean?
  • As you haven't had any replies your query will slip down the page until it's lost in the depths. By writing 'bump' it puts it up top again, as will my reply. Sorry I know nothing about cypresses.

But I did not know that.  Thanks for the heads-up.
