Long flowering shrubs

What shrubs does anyone think give the best value in terms of time they remain in flower?

    Shrubby salvias - can flower April to Nov. Abutilon about the same.

    Erysmum Bowles Mauve flowers forever but I suddenly took agin them and pulled out the lot.

    Shrubby Potentillas - they just keep going. Roses if you pick the right sort. Hydrangeas if you count bud/bloom/faded flowerheads. Anything that has flowers followed by berries, especially if the birds don't like them! Weigelas last quite well here.
    But where you live and the weather will affect your results. This year's weather has been brilliant for the tulips, they've been out for weeks and still going strong, less good for the cherry blossom. Hot, dry summers can curtail the flowering of things that prefer a more temperate climate, while untimely frosts can damage early or later flowers.

    Daphne bholua- starts in December, finishes in April, with delicious scent that whole time.  Definitely get your money’s worth 💰

    Corsican hellebores are almost shrubby - they grow over a metre. Mine stay with flowers on from November to June.

    Lavatera x clementii Rosea or Barnsley and Solanum crispen Glasnevin (a climber but easily becomes shrub-like with woody stems).
    Wirral. Sandy, free draining soil.

    Rosa Buff Beauty is supposed to have a long flowering season, but it will depend on the situation and location.
