Prickly Lettuce
in Plants
This is supposedly a "prickly lettuce" according to a plant identifier
which also states it is poisonous?
I cannot seem to find it on Google as poisonous
and what google pictures as prickly lettuce does not resemble this in my view
Can anyone confirm ID and if poisonous please?

It does have milky sap which is probably a skin irritant.
If left it produces a yellow flower a bit like a dandelion which will then self-seed.
It has quite a long tap root, so try and get the whole thing out so it doesn't pop up again.
No idea what it's called though..
But I'm sure someone here will know
