Any experience of The Secret Garden Company?

I purchased plants in January of this company and despite constant emails to them have received nothing, not even an answer. The Email is sam@yorkshire lavender and on goggling it is a lavender company ... certainly not what I purchased.
Anyone know anything about either company please

Yorkshire Lavender is the same company. They were called Lavdender World years ago when I visited.

Only 5/12 plants arrived. Refund wasn't made as claimed. Only 1 plant was excellent, the rest very dodgy, two bright yellow due to improper watering and leggy.

So... several months wait for that, and now I have a gap in my front garden where three astilbes were going to go!

I will stick to proper nurseries from now on.

Just had a fabulous order from Ballyrobert and getting another one from Brookside tomorrow. Even J Parkers perennials though tiny and imperfect were far better than this SGC rubbish.

They used to be really good, but recently seem to have problems. My most recent order resulted in a long wait and only one of (I think) 12 plants turning up (plus another one of the same plant a couple of days later...). Refund was prompt, though I'd been charged delivery on that one plant (that cost more than the plant) when I'd have preferred to have been told they couldn't fulfill the order and would have cancelled. They did refund delivery too on complaining. Won't use them again.

I’ll never use them again. Had one plant out of four delivered and it wasn’t the one I’d ordered! 😂

I did wonder on the forum some months ago if the Secret Garden Club were about to go under. If no email replies and no refunding I would steer clear. I cancelled my last order in April and got a full refund.

They delivered 8 of 10 for me, and the plants were in good condition. But I cancelled the other orders I had because I didn’t want to take the risk with them being so hit and miss. I did have to email to get the refund for the 2 missing plants but they did that and the cancellation within 10 mins of emailing. However I have seen lots of reports of people emailing multiple times and not hearing back
