Red spiky lumps on rose leaves and flower buds

Hi, I have recently noticed that my rose leaves were curling quite heavily and now I have just found these strange red spiky buds on both leaves and flower buds. Are they some type of galls or is it maybe a virus? How much should I worry about it and what should I do?
I tend to garden organically as much as possible, so if there is any other option rather than spraying chemicals I would be very happy.
Thank you so much for your help, so far it's always been very precious :-)

Robin's Pincushion (also known as the 'Bedeguar Gall') is a gall caused by the larvae of a tiny gall wasp, Dipoloepis rosae. Rather early though, it usually appears in late summer.
