Over wintering in fruit cages

Hello,

Could I put a cover over a fruit cage and in turn use to over winter more tender fruit trees?
Or in a similar way use it to protect peach trees?

I appreciate the help, I don't have a huge garden space and I am trying to be economical with the space.

Best regards

I see no reason why not, the main issue will be getting the right size of clear polythene to fit. How big a cage is it?  If you can at least cover the top it may give a peach tree enough protection from leaf curl.

I haven't bought one as of yet, I wanted a feel for what I could do with it. That's good then, my peach tree might enjoy that haha I appreciate the response!
