Palm tree worry

Hi. Can anyone tell me what theses sprouts out of my palm trees are and if they need removing. The first has 2 of the black trunks coming out of it

    Those are the flower spikes.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    your Cordylines are starting to flower , nothing to worry about 👍.you can cut them out at the end of the season after the birds have had a feast.
