    Yes, it looks like the sort that they sell as an indoor plant, very scented, but I didn't think it was hardy. I expect someone will come and tell you which sort it is.

    The scent must be pretty powerful! It does look like the indoor one to me. The blossom is more spaced out on the outdoor one.

    Oh really? Well yes it lives out full time, in Kent so they are warmer there. She says it smells strong.

    It's Jasminum Polyanthum, one of the earlier flowering Jasmines. Not fully hardy, but down south, it can be grown outdoors all year round against a southerly wall.

    Yes, that's the one that is usually grown as a house plant or in a conservatory.
