2 way hose connector stuck (and leaking)

Hi

I have a 2 way connector in my garden tap, which is leaking. I have tried to fix it with plumber tape but no luck, so i think replacing it is the right solution

However when trying to remove it, it is totally stuck. i have pured 4wd, vinegar to remove the limescale... and no luck at all. Im not even sure if i should turn it clockwise or anticlockwise.

I have tried with a spanner, pliers, even tried to turn it with a hammer but no movement at all

Any idea about how i can remove it?

Is the connector metal or plastic?

Inside it’s made of zinc apparently but outside it’s plastic  Calish 2 Way Garden Hose Splitter, Outdoor Utility Y Valve Hose Connector, Comfortable Rubberized Grip Faucet Adapter with 2 Connectors and 4 Rubber Washers https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0716X7G1J/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_0VSGVPAYCPSWJV30ZYVW?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

How long did you leave the WD40? It sometimes works if you leave it for a good while to penetrate into the thread.

Couple of hours. Should I leave it longer?

Wouldn't hurt to try, before you take drastic measures like replacing the outside tap that it's stuck onto. Last time I had something stuck on the outside tap I think I went back to it after about a week, but that was more by luck than judgement.
Outside tap attachments usually unscrew anticlockwise as you look towards the tap opening (righty tighty lefty loosy was what my grandad used to say), but there's probably an exception out there somewhere.

I've used slip jointed pliers on this sort of fitting with success.  They grip far better than anything else I've tried.

I'm glad I clicked on the Amazon link to see what you  are talking about @Javi.xeneize
I have one of those in the shed so tried which way to tighten and undo. Normal use, right to put it on and left to take off so as you are looking at the tap turn it anticlockwise.

Edit to say that it has a rubber washer inside so if yours has been connected for a while it might have perished so making it difficult to turn.

If you have a large flat bladed screwdriver place it against one the 'grips' on the tap connector and tap the end of the screwdriver with a hammer (anti-clockwise) which might get it moving.
