Larvae

Hi,

I was hoping that you can help to identify some larvae we found in the garden. I found it near vine weevil larvae so maybe the larvae is just at different stages?

    The yellowish one is a wireworm. 

    NB vine weevil larvae don’t have legs.

    Don't they get them just before they turn into the weevil?

    I’ve never let ‘em hang around long enough to watch them
    pupate B3 …, but every description I’ve ever come across describes them as Legless.

    🤔 Whether they’re also Wide-eyed I don’t know either 🤣

    That’s the stage the vine weevils are at now,   just getting their legs,  they will be adult beetles soon,  the birds love them if you can put them out.
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    When the vine weevils are in their pupau stage they have do have little legs. When their larvae they're legless. Horrible things. They seem more active and vulnerable as pupae.
