    That's what a plant ID app said, but I thought it was Hydrangea Paniculata. The flowers have a strong smell and appeared around mid-April.

    I agree as well. Hydrangea flowers don't have a scent anyway, or at least I can't smell anything from them  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
