Feeding & Watering Advice needed...

I'm a novice. Planted 6 x spinach and 6 x lettuce from little pots into the border - pretty good soil - about a month ago. They don't seem to have done anything since then. Should I be feeding them, and watering them (I've kept them watered), and if so, what feed should I use? Any other tips about growing spinach and lettuce appreciated. Thanks.

When you say - from little pots, what do you mean by little?
If it's something like 3 inch size, they'll take a while to settle and grow, unless you have lots of rain, which they like, especially lettuce. Lettuce is very happy with some shade.

    They shouldn't need feeding.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

More like plugs than pots - maybe 4cm at the top x 7cm deep!

Too small to plant out IMO. Slug fodder   :)
