I planted sunflowers indoors but they are leggy . Too thin a stem to stand up

    grew seeds indoors and now tall thin and falling over

    Not had enough light?
    I'm not sure if the will thicken up or not, I've never had that with sunflowers.
    Are the stems green, or are they pale?
    A photo would help, but might be worth sowing some more!

    mine are so leggy! I sowed seeds inside far too early.i don't like them and felt sure they wouldn't grow.but they have and are taking over my kitchen! can't wait for them to be planted out.
