Black spot on rose

Hi everyone,

I have a 'Claire Austin' rose and although it seems to be growing well I have noticed there a few leaves with black spot on. Should I be removing these leaves? I have just sprayed it with rose clear.

Any guidance would be great,

    I just take off the diseased leaves rather than spray.

    Also, if watering your plant with a hose or can, direct the water at the soil/roots, avoiding the foliage as the water will distribute any remaining spores to the leaves  below.
