Hello. I love ceanothus, but I am a little ignorant. I always thought of ceanothus as a shrub, but I've recently heard of people growing it as a climber. Can any ceanothus be grown this way?
I have seen it trained up walls and around windows which looks quite impressive. I came across this one which is described as a climber suitable for trellis.
It can be grown against a wall or fence but it's not a true climber - it doesn't twine or cling. Against a wall or fence is good for them because they can be a little bit tender and it gives them some protection.

It'll be fine in that location @jentub . I agree with the others - it's not a climber in the true sense, but can be wall trained, like a few other shrubs.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
