  • How is your Rowan getting on?
    We have one that is 35+ years and 2022 it didn't seem well with hardly any berries and early leaf fall. Possibly the dry summer.
    So far this year there isn't anything happening.  :(
  • I cut back my elderly rowan last year leaving a 4ft trunk because it was dying back and in clear distress. To my surprise it continued to show some signs of growth. It also has some buds this spring but I am afraid there is little hope of it surviving and I will have to be removed.

    Sorry to hear that after some positive signs.
    I just feel so sad - it's like losing a relative/friend that was always there outside the window  :'(
