Hey guys found this little plant growing next to my arch, any ideas. Also i took some cuttings from my Hydrangea Runaway Bride a while ago, they are coming on and have and have flowers on. Would it be best to snip the flowers off?.
Agree with both the above responses. Your hydrangea is still using energy stored in the stem so remove the flower buds and keep it watered and in a sheltered spot until you see roots poking thru at the base which is when you know it's ready to pot on.

Thanks peeps for the advice, we have grey squirrels that visit the garden so it must be a conker they buried but ive not seen any chestnut trees around my home surroundings.

as for the hydrangea I’d cut the buds off at that size but am sure others with greater wisdom on that will be along
