    @Plantminded Just seen these strange Sansevierias on line just Google Sanseveria velvet touch. 
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    I just got into house plants last year. The mantra 'right plant, right place' that we use in outdoor gardening is exactly the same for house plants. Before i buy a plant, i look into its natural habitat, and if i can't recreate it, i don't buy it.
    It's working for me up to now.

    Crocus have a good houseplant selection @Hostafan1.  There's also Patch Plants who specialise in houseplants and have some very useful videos, but you'll have to grin and bear the fact that they give each plant pet names.😒

    I know someone called Barry. A real larger than life character, no way he'd be a bonsai!
