HELP - Centaurea Montana not too happy

I moved one of my Centaurea Montana Amerthyst Dream plants on Friday and its not looking too happy. It’s a plant that self seeded about 5 years ago but was now too big for the spot so I lifted it, split it, and replanted in new locations.  I’ve never moved a Centaurea before so is this transplant shock? Should I leave well alone or cut back?

It'll be fine. It'll perk up. They're tough as old boots.
I'd remove the flowers though.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Mine occasionally get pruned by a passing sheep and it makes no difference at all to their health!

I'd give it a big drink and then stand well back ... I've never been able to kill one yet.  ;)
