Sprouted garlic - plant or eat?

Would it be worth planting these in a little tub? Thought it might at least make some garlic greens. Or chuck into the veg raised bed and see how it does?

Won't be very good for eating ... they begin to get tough once they're sprouting ... and I always remove any green bits from the cloves when cooking as they can taste bitter ... so you might as well plant them and see what you get ... as you say, some garlic greens for stirfrying would be good.  :)

Thanks @Dovefromabove - they’ve gone into the veg bed. If I forget to harvest garlic and they stay in the ground for 2 years, do the bulbs get bigger or do they just rot in the ground if you forget them?

It depends how heavy/wet your ground is. If they stay reasonably dry, they'll probably regrow. They don't get bigger - every clove grows into a bulb. So if you leave them you'll get a clump, but usually of smaller bulbs because they will inevitably be overcrowded

Thanks @raisingirl - I seem to have another patch that I don’t know whether it’s garlic that I’ve missed previously. It’s possible I planted it with flowers and forgot it. Will have to see if it blooms but if it smells like garlic then it can only be garlic surely.
