Problem Rhodedendron

Can anyone advise me on what is happening to my rhodedendron? The others in my garden are growing happily, but this is struggling. Thanks

It's probably bone dry. They need lots of moisture, and a cooler, shadier site, to be at their best. Long term dry weather is difficult for them, because they're shallow rooted.  :)
The grass will also take some moisture away from it, and I think I can see a laurel there too - another big 'soaker up'[ of water.
The soil might not be ideal either. If it's at the alkaline end of neutral, or alkaline, it won't be happy, but if you have others growing well, it's probably ok.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I agree with Fairygirl and say that it's too dry. It should survive if you don't let it dry out.
SW SCOTLAND but born in Derbyshire
