  I had one in a previous garden @Liriodendron - to the inside of my hornbeam hedge. They're certainly good against a dark background 
  Any of those suggestions would be fine though.

  I was about to say I wouldn't leave that maple there in a pot.  It's in a prime location for some toerag to nick.
