Hmm I guess you’re right. They are so beautiful though. I might try on an edge that doesn’t get walked on and see how it goes. I bought a couple of bags from wilko last autumn and they’ve come up brilliantly. For only a couple of pound, I think I’ll give it a go.

@Jellyfire that looks absolutely amazing  what a lovely house and garden, just idyllic! Do you keep adding tulips each year?

@didyw, the tickets sell out very quickly. Having missed out last year, this time I must admit I set an alarm while away on holiday to buy tickets the moment they started selling online.

@Messynessy, it would be lovely to see the results, keep us posted.

Here are a few more photos from me, in the 'fiery red' category.

Thank you @Athelas, we’re just having a new thatch done, not quite so lovely for the bank account though  :#
Yes I just add a few which are meant to be reliably perennial each year, i just lift up a square foot of turf and throw them in. Ballerina, amiable bleu and shogun mainly as they have always been good at returning for me

It will look great with the new thatch @Jellyfire! I was just admiring Amiable Blue on the Farmer Gracy website...

Here are a few final photos from Tulips for Tapping — looking forward to the next one in 2023.
