Another uninvited strange plant creeping across the back of a border. More weeds?

I don't know what it is,  but I will be interested to find out.  I think it is beautiful.

Woodruff, Galium odoratum. Lovely woodland plant

    In the sticks near Peterborough
  • I was going to say it looks nothing like the Woodruff I've got growing in my garden, but I presume the flowers are white, not pale blue as they look in the photo ? How tall is it ? most of mine is about 9 inches in old money ..

Needs a bit of controlling, it spreads enthusiastically.

It does spread but its easy to pull out. I love it, great for ground cover in shady woody areas

It is a very useful ground cover plant for shady areas and will spread right up to the trunk of a tree or a to a fence or wall which can sometimes be areas that are hard to grow anything in. I love it and as others have said if it gets out of control it is easy to remove.

I love it too. It will grow anywhere, in any conditions.

No it isn't @Papi Jo, that's just the photo. It's white in real life, see above.
