New garden plant identification

Hi, 

I have a new garden and I am trying to identify the plants in order to care for them properly, I have identified Pieris, azelea and hostas so far but I’m stuck on the following and would appreciate any help. Many thanks, 


Pic 1 and 2, is this a camellia? 

Pic 3, sorry it’s sideways 


And 3 pictures of the last one, whole plant, from the top then from underneath the leaves

    1 and 2 are a Camellia, the second (pic 3 )looks like a peony.

    Last one might be a Daphne
    I have Daphne tangutica which is a more compact variety than yours by the look of it, but there a a lot of similarities. Mine is flowering now too

    Might be Daphne laureola, flowering now, yellowish flowers.

    I agree with AnniD on the first two but not sure on the third. I expect Pete and Nutcutlet are right though.

    Agree about 1,2 and 3
    No idea about 4, although can see similarities to Daphne.

    1 and 2 camelia picture 3 is a peony. In a couple of weeks that peopny should be pretty big. Mine is huge about a third bigger than last year.Don't have a clue about the others. Good luck

    Thank you very much everyone, I have looked up photos of Daphne and that’s what it looks like, think it’s Daphne laureola. I will look forward to seeing the peony grow :)
