Two more mystery plants.

Dear Members.

In my new garden two new discoveries, both flowering in April and in the shade, any help please identifying will be appreciated.

Thank you

Hello buddyandmorse your two lovely plants are Solomon's seal (Polygonatum) and Dog's tooth violet (Erythronium). My Solomon's seal plants are just unfolding now and my Erythronium flowers are starting to die back. You have two beauties there!

Agree with above, both lovely woodlanders.

My Erythroniums are just flowering now. Lovely little plants  :)

Polygonatum can sometimes be annihilated by sawfly, so keep an eye on it. Big caterpillars, so easy to spot.  Lovely plant too  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
