Allium leaves quickly turning yellow

Can anyone help? My allium leaves are quickly turning yellow. It is in full sun as per instructions and I am watering daily....

    That's what they do, unfortunately. Just cut them back to ground level and enjoy the flowers. If they are in a border the plants growing around them cover the fact that there are no leaves.

    OK that makes sense, it's in a pot at the moment, but I have a planter next to some lupins that it might do well in :)

    Just taken this pic of one of mine, Fortunately, the other plants surrounding it will cover the fact that I'll cut the leaves back on the allium.

    Strange that the leaves go yellow in the first place.... There must be something that the plant is not happy about...?

    I think it's just the plant's natural habit.  Presumably the leaves have grown for long enough to feed the bulb for next year, so they're beginning to die down... it's just a nuisance for us gardeners, who like our plants to look pristine.
