Blue alder beetles

They are all over my new crab apple would it be they are what are making the leaves like lace what can I do to offer them

    Never heard of this attacking Crab apple trees before.

    They are on all the lower leaves I keep knocking them off but what is left of the leaves looks like lace . To be honest the whole back garden has them including the washing on the line😡😡 a couple of roses in the beds near the alder trees have been stripped of leaves but I put this down to sawfly I don't do a lot of spraying has anyone any ideas they seem to be pretty tough
