I want to plant a narrow hedge to add privacy to my garden. What would be the best option?

What a lovely garden you have @Ergates!  That bright green Griselinia hedge really complements your delightful woodland planting.
    Wirral. Sandy, free draining soil.

Thank you, Plantminded. Can’t take any credit for the rest of the plants, all here when we moved in. Most of my gardening seems to consist of removing and pruning stuff when it gets too big and out of control. We did put that hedge in. We have had to reduce it in height from 6 foot when we left it too long between trimming. It seems very resilient though.
  • Thank you @Ergates and @Plantminded for the photos. They really help a lot
