Most of our frosts here this winter has been while they're in flower, and it hasn't affected them at all. Lack of water at the pertinent time can affect flowering in tulips generally. Mainly late winter/early spring.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I have this exact problem, also with only clusiana. It's as though someone has pinched the stem halfway down after flowering. It is kind of flat halfway down the length. I have two different pots with the same issue. I have dried them at the end of the season for several years and until now, no issues. I actually wonder if it's too much watering as although I have not watered them other than a weekly short burst with feed, it has been quite wet here this year.
