Fritillary

My Fritillary Meagris are beginning to make clumps having been planted about 5 years ago. Can you divide clumps in the green or do I have to wait until the plant dies back before lifting and moving? Any suggestions?

    I don't think it makes any difference, although it might be easier to find them, whilst they are still green.
